The Client Project Process
Data is processed via batch for monthly closing process (Datastage does ETL). The primary upstream requirement is that Oracle GL provides all the balance info down to EPM, during the day the user will have uploaded changes or new rules to the balance the information (need to finalize the rules... app engine assigns rate to instrument)...
App engine is bath process for month-end closing process involving internal managers allocating funds to employee expense accounts (GL codes - FIN, HCM).
Component Interfaces are developed to allow the users to define the allocation of funds of the financial instruments (Product IDs).
Data moves from the Oracle GL source table to an "enrichment table" for some data transformation and finally into the EPM tables.
