Must have 5 - 8 yrs experience with WebLogic Administration - installation/ deployments/ configuration/ maintenance/ performance/ monitoring/ troubleshooting Web based applications. - Solid UNIX/Linux Skills (Scripts and Administration) and experience with TCP/IP networking. - Experience with MySQL and MS SQL Server is a plus. - Competency in relational database structures and SQL. - Strong working understanding of SOA structure and administrative processes. - Oracle SOA Suite on Unix,XML, Java, HP-UX,Web Services (BPEL and ESB). - Experience installing, configuring, and administering clustered SOA environments. - Experience performance tuning clustered SOA environments. - Fusion Middleware/SOA Suite, BPEL, Enterprise Service Bus, WebLogic, Business Process Management, etc. - Experience in WLST, Jython and ANT scripting to automate and monitor the WebLogic routine tasks. - Administration experience with SunOne/ Apache/ IIS/ Tomcat WebServers. - Experience with process documentation and process documentation tools (such as Visio). - Experience using Java, J2EE, XML, SQL and Shell/Perl Scripting in a UNIX environment. - Experience with RSA/Cleartrust an added advantage. - Windows Server 2000/ 2003 and Active Directory skills. - Strong analytical & troubleshooting skills.
Description of Duties : - ---------------------------------------------------------- - Designs and implement infrastructure from specifications - Analyzes, evaluates, tests, debugs, and documents moderately complex software applications. - Under general direction devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems. - Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications server activities. - Monitor application server performance. - Modifies, installs, and prepares technical documentation for system software applications. - Monitors systems capacity and performance, plans and executes disaster recovery procedures, and provides Tier 2 technical support. - Provides high level written communications such as white papers, decision documents, or research papers. - Identify, escalate and document production impact issues for the environment to confirmed delivery for client and business notification. - Participate in the 24x7 on-call pager rotation for application support of production related issues
