Title: SAP Workflow consultant
Location: Columbia, SC
Duration: 6+ Months
The major components of SAP included are finance, budgeting, materials management, human resources and payroll modules. The SAP Workflow Developer requested under this SOW must have an in-depth knowledge of the Workflow development within SAP for public sector organizations. The SAP Workflow Developer must be able to configure and develop workflow to function within SAP modules and also a third party imaging application. The developer must have experience with unit testing, business process procedure development, integration testing, etc. for custom work flows within SAP.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities • Work flow as it relates to Adobe Interactive forms • Assist in analyzing business processes and developing work flows • Complete Unit and Integration Testing of work flows • Work with functional teams to develop Business Process Procedures (BPP’s) for work flows when necessary • Resolve SAP defects via SAP OSS (Online Support System) and system errors via a working knowledge of the integration with other SAP modules • Escalate issues to Project Management in a timely manner • Assist in the design of new functionality as additional requirements are identified by users/agencies
Time-frame: Positions to begin effective on or about 01/02/2010; for approximately six (6) calendar months. Renewal for four (4) additional months upon satisfactory performance by the candidate.
SKILLS REQUIRED: Skills and Abilities that the SAP Workflow resource should possess include: • 5 plus years of working with SAP Workflow • Facilitating workshops with the client to develop workflow requirements • Configuring workflow for FI/CO/GM/FM and MM/SRM modules and Adobe Interactive forms • Knowledge of SAP Archivelink as related to imaging workflow • Creating functional and technical specifications for each custom workflow • Hands-on developing and unit testing of custom workflow objects • Experience in SAP 2005 • Proven ability to deliver high-quality results • Experience in the development of project documentation (functional specifications, technical specifications, test plans, etc.) • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills (with all levels of the organization) and a very good command of the English language • Ability to work with diverse groups and work within the team environment • Ability to communicate complex ideas and subjects accurately, clearly and concisely • Ability to transfer knowledge to other workflow developers • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office software including: PowerPoint, Word, Access, Outlook and Excel • Proven experience in learning new software programs and apply that knowledge in practice • Proven organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to build and maintain partnerships within different business units • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, complete important time sensitive tasks, adapt quickly to last minute changes and manage multiple projects
